happy happy weekend how i love thou!

friday night it was like a girls night (sorry dad). we hung out, they drank whine, we painted my moms balcony, & prepped for our following night of friends/bonfire extravaganza. it was a great time - srsly. nice & relaxing.

much to our dismay we woke up to torrential rain & thunderstorms & even though we were freezing; when the sun popped out we braved the outdoors and enjoyed all of our company that started to arrive.

my sister made deviled eggs (barf) my mom made potato salad & i made homemade burgers. we grilled, we listened to tunes, we chatted, the kids ran around playing manhunt, & we sat around the small bonfire.

all in all it was a great night!

now i am cleaning up from last, getting the three of us ready to head out to the private beach for some fun in the sand & sun. pictures are coming, i promise! i must start reminding myself to bring my good camera because you will be bombarded with cam phone pics - oops sorry!

so i shall be back tonight with pics from our day & things i love sunday.
